Stands for “Information Technology,” and is pronounced “I.T.” It refers to anything related to computing technology, such as networking, hardware, software, the Internet, or the people that work with these technologies. The strength of engineering technology at WSU is that students learn in an applied format. It prepares students for technical working environments: Students are taught how to use computers and various technological tools which can be of great benefit when they complete school and start applying for jobs.
To qualify as a tech company, a company has to make new technology (whether or not they sell it to an end user), use it to differentiate themselves, and be driven by the values of innovation and collaboration. Integrating this type of technology into your current processes can be much simpler and require a smaller upfront investment while still providing major benefits and boosting productivity in your day to day operations.…
